Adria - 3D Character
I was so inspired after watching the Walt Disney Animation Studios picture “Encanto” that I took a shot at designing my own character. The concept behind Adria is that she is a clairvoyant who would help the town by communicating with loved ones and bridge the gap between life and death. From Sculpting to rendering, Adria was a real pleasure to create.

Dress
Anyone who has seen “Encanto” knows just how important the part of costume design plays. With Adria I wanted to play with the dark elements of clairvoyancy against the bright playful colours. I used a mixture of Marvellous Designer and Blender to create the clothes for Adria.

Environmnet
To finish the render I used some incredible 3D scans from an online resource. The enviornment really grounds the character and sets the tone and atmosphere.
Concept Art
Every project begins with a sketch. This is the initial concept art of Adria. She changed a lot through the process and as this was a personal project, I enjoyed altering the character design as I progressed.
